Bio + CV

Hi, I’m Piper!

I am a graphic designer, researcher, and illustrator. My work is curious, expressive, and focused on promoting agency through personal and community-focused projects.

I’m originally from the Kansas City area (Kansas side!). I graduated from the University of Arkansas with a BFA in Graphic Design along with a Minor in Art History. Recently, I returned to the UofA, this time as a graduate student in the University of Arkansas Master of Design program.

Professionally, I have grown and learned from various design roles. I have experience working in a creative agency and production company, for a nonprofit, as a contracted in-house designer, and as an educator to college-level design students.

My areas of research interest are civic engagement, methods of critique, and participatory data collection. I have spoken about my work at national and international design conferences and have also contributed to several collaborative published works and group exhibitions.
